A winery, a village and a place full of charm and history: Tellurit is born in the ancient village of Capietaglio, one of the first settlement structures of the whole Val Pontida, whose origins date back to the thirteenth century. The desire to give new life to the village of Capietaglio has brought the Leoncini family to invest with foresight in a large restoration project of buildings and structures with the aim of creating a new, but personal space, faithful to its origins but looking towards the future: Borgo Capietaglio Wine Resort.

Borgo Capietaglio shapes up as a nucleus of ancient formation, with two buildings that physically develop around two large courts distributed on different levels: a Lower Court, older, and an Upper Court, accessible from the south-eastern front, extreme point of the village. The works started in 2018 in the oldest part of the structure, had as protagonist a building from 1200 which includes a beautiful tasting room that today is the Merlot Room, suspended between the past and the future, as well as other fascinating spaces characterized by the recovery of local materials and the most modern technologies.

Restaurant, hospitality and events: the relaunch project of the village of Capietaglio is ambitious and consists in the recovery of the entire complex that has become a Wine Resort, where tradition and modernity blend into a gastronomic and wine tourism proposal with products of own production.

Preserving the five hectares of forest surrounding the village is our concern. Sustainability is at the heart of the architectural renovation project of Borgo Capietaglio Wine Resort, renovated using reclaimed materials, heated by wood produced from forest waste and powered by renewable energy.
